In the village, Chirnside Hall Hotel, (01890 818219) Chirnside Inn (formerly Waterloo Inn) (818034) and Naismiths Hotel (818507) all offer food and accommodation. The Red Lion, in the centre of the village, serves food, and the Beacon Coffee Shop is open each morning.

There are camping and caravan facilities in Coldingham, Eyemouth and Berwick, as well as small certificated sites and many self-catering properties - from castles to cottages - in the surrounding area.

Shops include a Butcher, Fish & Chip shop, Newsagents, Co-op food store, Post Office, Royal Bank, and the interior design shop, Inside Story, is worth a visit.
