What's on in Chirnside

Chirnside is a thriving community with many events for both residents and visitors.

Rather than provide a detailed calendar of events which may become out of date, this page provides general information on some of the activities in the village of Chirnside and the surrounding area.

There are a number of sporting clubs in the village, the most noticeable being Chirnside's Bowls Club which can boast what is, probably, the most spectacular location in the UK. There are regular competions as well as informal practice sessions and visiting bowlers can be sure of a warm welcome.

Chirnside also has a thriving football club with its own website.

The Chirnside Development Group has been formed to look at ways to develop the Community Centre and to implement the Playball! project.

The group has its own website.
